After a career in London working in the fabric business, it was high time for a change.

Evening classes at Heatherleys School of Art in Chelsea provided the direction, Bath, a foundation course and then on to Cheltenham to do a BA Hons in Fine Art Painting.

Dorset was the best move and the landscape has come to dominate my work. To create a space on paper, give the feeling of distance and explore the changing colours through the movement of light is a never ending joy. At the age of 16 I studied life drawing in Florence, a discipline fundamental to my work and one which I am constantly developing.

I have exhibited in London, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Dorset and sold my work in the UK and the USA.
