After a 25 year career in London working in the furnishing fabric business, it was time for a change. Four years of evening classes at Heatherleys School of art in Chelsea provided the direction.

In 1996 I let my house in London and went to Bath to do a years foundation course and then on to Cheltenham to achieve a BA Hons degree in Fine Art Painting.

Dorset was the best move, and the landscape has come to dominate my work at the moment. To create a space on paper, give the feeling of distance and explore the changing colours through the movement of light is a never ending ploy.

At the age of 16 I studied life drawing in Florence, a discipline fundamental to my work and one which I am constantly developing.

I have exhibited in London, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Dorset and sold my work in the UK and the USA.
